Storybook Character Pumpkin Contest

First grade held its 2nd Annual Storybook Character Pumpkin Contest this week.  We found similar ideas on blogs a few years ago and tweaked it a bit.  Our students and families did AWESOME again this year!  Check out our pictures!  The entire school votes for their favorite when they go to Media Center this week and the winner will be announced on our school's morning news on Halloween.



Here is the letter we sent home to explain the project to our families.

    You had some GREAT ones!! Mine are due on Monday, I'm nervous to see how they turn out. I love Fly Guy, Ladybug and Chicken Little:)

    I loved Fly Guy and the gal from Toy Story the most, but they're all wonderful.
